The Belgian Question....

....is answered. The new spiegeltentesque structure which has appeared in the Ross Bandstand this week is in fact a festival venue(what else?) with a Belgian beer tent twist.

You see, I'm not sure that serving high strength beer, intended for sipping and moderate consumption to an indigenous population used to drinking relatively low strength beer in pints is a good move. Interesting experiment; I remember well the Fürstenberg Tent in East Princes Street Gardens a number of years ago....absolute mayhem
