Heron (umpteenth)

It was a fairly busy day, because I have had to stuff most of the things that I would normally bumble about doing during the week into two days.

This working to set hours business; it's a laugh, innit?

Shopping, banking annd grass cutting were all accomplished, though. I was only sorry to miss out on the allotment... Cooked a nice salmon and soba salad for tea, and we're about to watch a DVD.

One other normal activity I managed was a blipwander along the Water of Leith. It was a great pleasure to get the DSLR out (I'm not taking it up to site!) and to meet one of my heron friends up by the weir.
