Lorquin's Admiral

I saw this butterfly while walking the dogs this morning. It didn't stay in the same spot for long, and I only managed to get a few shots before it flew out of reach. I don't know the names of butterflies so I Googled Western Washington butterflies to try to identify it. The first site I chose had a list of names, with links to photos. Lorquin's Admiral was the first one I clicked on.
