The Spiders and the Fly

May be hard to believe, but both spiders and the fly are made of glass! Note that the yellowed bodied spider has a missing rear leg. When I mentioned that to the artist, he said it would be just as much trouble to repair it as to make a new one, and so he did while we watched. Of course, we purchased the new one and the fly and he gave us the wounded spider. Amazing to watch. Several months later, my wife and I and guests did a workshop there, where we made paperweights. Some of them are pictured on another photo here. Fabulous to do!
