USC McCarthy Quad

Looking West. I was on campus today for a monthly meeting. Afterwords I had to head back to my office in downtown Los Angeles. As I walked across campus I stopped on McCarthy Quad to look at the Von KleinSmid Center. Part of the donation for this building was that the tower had to be the tallest structure on campus. Well a few years later a taller building went up, but to stay in line with terms of the donation the globe was added to make it just a bit higher.
