O Gud Fors Land?

It was a fun-packed day at the office....not. I was very relieved to head off afterwards through the New Town (for non Edinburgh-ers, this is actually quite old, but not so old as the Old Town) in order to meet DH and the Young Archaeologists at the Cask and Barrel. The first pint scarcely touched the sides.

On my way there I noticed this - I had seen it before but had forgotten exactly which street it was in. If there are any blippers from Iceland perhaps they will be moved by this inscription, but it does seem a little odd.

Well, it's an early night for me - have a good weekend, blippers all!
