Mr. Egret is back

Our pond provides wonderful habitat for a variety of birds. turtles, fish, frogs, and yes, even alligators. The egret, ever wary of the gators, feeds cautiously along the banks.

So far, it's birds - 8+, alligators - 0. Can't tell how many frogs, turtles, and fish, the gator may have consumed but, I'm sure he's not starving. Survival of the fittest they say. It is fascinating to watch it all unfold.
