Centaurea stoebe

aka Spotted Knapweed. This is a biennial non-native that aggressively crowds out other plants. There is a sea of this lilac color here right now...I should mow it all over....right now, before it goes to seed. I did see my attempt at planting our native Swamp Milkweed last fall was successful.
