Phew

The suspense is over. I found out today that I won't be getting a pay cut any time soon. Company finances are better than expected after the recent round of redundancies.

Aside from that, I've now been caffeine free for 4 days, but still getting withdrawal headaches. I've been reading all about it on Wikipedia, apparently the headaches are due to vasodilation in the brain, caffeine being a vasoconstrictor, meaning it causes blood vessels to contract. Withdrawal symptoms can last up to 9 days! Here's hoping it's not that bad.
