Zomerfeesten

The Nijmeegse Zomerfeesten (Summer Festivities) are part of the Nijmeegse Vierdaagse. Today, after playing taxi for my girlfriend, we both went to Gendt (near Nijmegen in the Netherlands).

There we spent the rest of the day with a couple of cousins from Australia. We talked a lot, went for a walk on this hot day to the local supermarket. Then we made dinner, had dinner, watched a movie and went to the Nijmeegse Zomerfeesten.

At 22.30h precisely the 20 minute fireworks show started. It was an amazing sight. I have a couple of picture that show fireworks without any blur, but I just loved the movement in this one.


After the festival we stayed in Gendt for a late night sleep.
