River painting 2

i spent quite a lot of time down at the river this evening - trying to get a shot of the river flowing with some grass in the foreground. I was quite happy with what I ended up with but then I just saw this one and knew that this is it. Very simple and maybe even silly but I love the curves and it just inspires a calmness in me.

I think this photo would definitely be best in Large

It felt great to sit at (in :) the river and take phots for nearly 40 minutes, trying different angles, different exposures, different lens'.....time flies when I do this. I love it.

Had a great day with the boys. We took a long walk downtown, sat and listened to a fantastic street musician, ate ice cream and sushi, and got soaked in a summer downpour :) Erik is learning how to ride his unicycle - and he has almost got it, and we played cards for a long time this evening....lovely lovely day :)

I am starting to pack for my trip - the next phase of my summer holiday. On Sunday the boys are going to their Dad's for 2 weeks and I am biking from Copenhagen to Berlin...about 650 km....it's flat and should be quite an easy ride. Im riding from home, taking the ferry over to Copenhagen and meeting a friend of mine there. We will spend 2 days exploring Copenhagen and 6-7 days biking to Berlin. Im really looking forward to biking all day...taking photos, eating and reading and biking some more...should be great. Right now Im just trying to figure out how much camera gear I can realistically take with me :)
