Waste Ground

I pass this small patch of waste ground on my way to the local shop. It's untidy full of weeds and probably waiting for a developer to come along and build something on it.

In the meantime it is fantastic for wildlife, because of all the thistles it was full goldfinches this evening. I'm going to go back and see if I can photograph them sometime this weekend. :)
