Fishing on the mighty river Tay

Walking with Megan and Ingvild around the river today, tucking into delicious wild yellow and ruby red raspberries, we saw our local ghillie, Stan taking a couple of fishermen out in search of salmon. What a gloriously sunny day it has been.

Megan sniffed out a partridge nest and pulled a little fluffy chick out of it's nest much to the angst of it's mother. However being a labrador and trained not to kill but to softly pick up birds, the wee chap suffered no harm, squeaked and ran back to its nest.

I'm trained in EMDR if it has suffered PTSD!!!

Off to the Isle of Skye to see Yoga Mamma's in-laws D and R.

They are such good company and we love spending time with them. R makes the BEST parmesan biscuits known to man. Served warm from the aga washed down with a large gin and tonic!
