Is it Art, or just Luck????

Now I'm not much of a photographer, and although there are a few shots I am proud of that I've included on blip, I still have a hell of a lot to learn. To put it in perspective, after almost 18 months with this camera, I just figured out how to turn the flash off today. Yes, maybe I should have just read the instructions, but I'm old school, instructions are for girls!!!! Apart from that, they are on another continent somewhere.

At first, and its still the case, the reason i started with blip was to basically record my daily life while away from home for my family and friends to keep up to date with me, as I don't pick up the phone or email nearly as much as I should. Also, to look back one day with the kids/grandkids and show them what i got up to while I travelled. Now though, I'm starting to look at improving my photography, with a lot of inspiration from the blip community. Some days I get a great shot, others not. Some days I'm just blipping for the sake of it, others not.

Well, today, I was just farting around with the camera, trying different things and it was one of those days where, I WAS just blippng for the sake of it, and I came out with this. May not mean much to everybody else, but I think its great and my first step into artistic blipping.
