what a day

today i spent the day with a local pastor, gideon, who does the same job that i do back in the uk: schools and youth work. i'd heard of their work so arranged to spend the day with him. it was immense!

the schools we went to were ace and the young people were amazing. in one of the assemblies the students did a drama and it was wet-yourself funny. gideon and i had a smashing day together.

then on the way home i was told that one of the bible college students, womba, had died. she's been ill for a few weeks with heart problems but none of us suspected this. she was the mother of 3 young children which makes the whole thing so much worse.

two of my student friends, constance and prisca, came over tonight to chat about it all. and have our photos taken during a power cut. TIA!
