You can shed tears that she is gone,
or you can smile because she has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back,
or you can open your eyes and see all she's left.
Your heart can be empty because you can't see her,
or you can be full of the love you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday,
or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember her only that she is gone,
or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind,
be empty and turn your back.
Or you can do what she'd want:
smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

I was about to go to work when my sister called me and told me the bad news. Ella died at 4 o'clock this morning.

Ella was her patient for almost 3 years now and she was a lovely 80 year old lady. I can still remember her silly laugh, her eyes, her cheeks that turns red everytime I kiss her and tell her that she's beautiful. Her love for my egg rolls and sushi which became her favorite. I appreciate her effort to speak in English (because i cant understand hebrew) just to tell me her adoration for her grandchildren. Her never ending love for her children and for my sister...

I will miss her.

Goodbye Ella... I'm sending my kisses to the sky now.. hoping it will reach you wherever you are...
