last days of summer

Fishing at the Lake today. Picked up a lucky penny yesterday and took it fishing. By 3pm I had no fish and offered up the penny to the Lake. A couple of minutes later I had a fish and then another. Finished up with two blue trout 3lb 12oz and 3lb 7oz. Weather was warm and sunny with a light SW breeze. The club ended the day at the Lion and Peacock for a meal of the best steak and kidney pie and some fishy tales. Beats working any day.
