Hydrangea

Went up to Liverpool to visit Mum for the day and take her out shopping in return for home made cake and sausage rolls...not a bad deal.
Spent an hour or so on her garden mostly pulling out weeds, trimming the hedge and cutting back a very unruly passion flower plant..yes I know it probably isn`t the right time of year to do this, but the thing was taking over the garden and need a serious haircut. Oh and there was the little matter of trying to unblock a blocked drain to no avail...
Didn`t get chance to get down to Crosby to look at the Iron Men so I made do with this blip of an equally huge Hydrangea in the garden which started life as a pot plant some 20 years ago
