Immaculate Insulation

Here's Russ, our Site Manager, really, really concentrating as he carefully fills the wall cavity with precision cut insulation.

Because of the way the blockwork coursing has ended up, there were no metal wall ties in this section which could be used to squeeze the insulation batts together.

Russ came up with the nifty solution of 'sticking' this short run of them together with a powerful mastic. He'd trialled it at home yesterday evening and the sample was tested to destruction this morning by him and my husband.
