University of Wisconsin?

The weather was shockingly bad today and I did despair of ever getting a picture. (This one is a real salvage job!).

I had an appointment in Dalkeith so briefly dropped into Dalkeith Country Park to get this picture of Dalkeith Palace.

In 1701 it was described as 'the grandest of all early classical houses in Scotland'. The Grounds have been opened to the public since 1975.

The new thing I discovered today, and the reason for the title, is that it is now a European study centre for the University of Wisconsin USA, accommodating some 80 students at a time.
