eventful journey home

we were assured that rainy season was over in malawi.

however, after church this evening we were informed that there was no way the 4x4 could collect us as the rains were so bad that the road was impassable. great.

so we were stuck in the middle of nowhere. dark, wet and so slippy that i could hardly stand up. pastor rodgers suggested we get on the back of a bike.

"no way. i can barely stand. i am not getting on a bike".

i'll let you guess what happened. most scary journey of my life!
