Two Tears

I'm not sure what was going on with Ethan last night but he woke up 3 times, before being up for the day at 7.30am. At least he did go to sleep quickly after a feed each time but it was still 3 times more than I would have liked!

Still, he was raring to go at his weekly swimming class today. We had the babies mainly on their tummies today and the aim is that they reach out for balls and toys in the water. We've done this several times before and Ethan has ignored them. Today he kept grabbing the ball and didn't want to let go of it!

I then took him to the baby clinic at the Health Centre as he hasn't been weighed since we started weaning 2 months ago. He now weighs 16lb 3oz and has jumped up from the 9th centile to the 25th! Quite reassuring to know that the weaning is clearly going well!

He had cheese on toast today for the first time and was doing quite a good job of holding the toast slices and feeding himself. Each time he dropped one though he would have a complete tantrum, the aftermath of which you can see in todays photo!
