Forum on Affordable Student Housing

Today the students union of the University of Calgary arranged a forum on affordable student housing. The University of Calgary can only offer on Campus housing for 7.5% of their students. Of campus housing is expensive and hard to get (with a current vacancy rate of 0.5 % on rental units).

Therefore many students live in unsafe and illegal secondary suites while still paying a high rent.
