Play date

This morning Spence and I invited a little boy two months older than Spence over for a play date. Ethan and Spence go to the same 'Music and Movement' class at the community centre. Ethan and his mum, Natarsha, walked over to our house and the boys had a great time playing outside together then coming inside to check out more of the toys!! It was nice to see them play well together. Ethan is a lovely boy with a similar nature to Spence, they aren't the type of kids who are full on and into everything, they are pretty cruisy and fairly willing to share!! They both stayed for lunch then it was time for a sleep!

While Spence was asleep I went outside and stood on the balcony trying to get some shots of the birds with my 'big' lens! There were some galahs, red parrots, honey eaters, magpies, sparrows and a few other types of birds around. I got a few good shots and decided on this one for today's blip. I have no idea what type of bird it is, but it is very quick and doesn't stay still for very long!! I like the naked branches in the shot with the bird in amongst them!

After Spencer's sleep Kaz, Spence and I went and picked up a hire car to use while my car is being fixed. They reckon it will take three weeks! We came home and I made a beautiful Massaman curry for tea. I forgot to get the roti bread from the supermarket though! I LOVE roti and dipping it into the curry! It is my favourite part of Thai food!

Kaz is off to Sydney tomorrow for the day for a meeting and Spence is in daycare so I will be able to catch up on a few things!
