Imperturbable

It's known, Shanghai is very hot during summer, very, very hot and humid and people find respite from the scorching day in the coolest hours of the night.

People here stay and live in the streets a lot especially as most common homes are crowded, small and without air con.

The lady in the picture is no exception and sitting comfortably in her pyjamas, is reading a newspaper while she's also carrying out her duties as "block" warden (see the red armband around her left arm).
She seemed so "isolated" and just imperturbable while the night traffic were running around her that she really stroke my eye and I have purposedly chosen a picture with the light "ghost" of cars and bus passing by to try to convey this feeling.
