pruning

an unexpected day off thanks to the new system introduction being postponed til next week (thank heavens, since it doesn't appear to actually work yet...), and so i thought i'd tackle the laurel pruning. it's grown up to about 18inches since last year's mega-prune, bloody resilient stuff! it got rather mildewy this spring tho, so a good chop was much needed. i almost forgot to snap it - this was the very last bit!
