Chip off the old block...
I am in awe of dry stone walls which beautifully define the Peak District. How long have they been standing there? How many people did it take to make a single wall, let alone the miles framing each field? How long did it take to carefully select each stone to ensure a snug fit? And I love the way nature is making its mark on mankind with the lichen and moss.
We had a long weekend in the Peak District, with a little intrusion into Yorkshire, so I've just backblipped the weekend's photos.
