Look into my (composite) eyes

I spent ages tonight with a little ladybird on a willowherb. Got it from all angles, including on the end of my finger. Blip in the bag for the night I thought, then I found this little fellow on top of a peg on the washing line. Quick shot and I went back in. Wasn't till I had them on the laptop I noticed I had the near perfect focus on the composite eye, not often I manage that! It's one of the things I love with macro, it can be a really frustrating experience but every now and again you something that really makes it worthwhile!
