Shadows on the ceiling

I took this as I lay in bed this morning.

If only all my photos could be acquired with such minimal outlay of effort.

All in all we've had a wonderful summer so far, and the dynamic play of light and shadow on the ceiling promised more sunshine, if interspersed with clouds and showers.

The shifting interplay of illumination and shade was caused by the light of the rising sun filtering through the double glazing and past the rings supporting the curtains.

We keep our pleasures simple here in Somerset!
