Lazy, Hazy, Summer Afternoon

I kept thinking I was going to get out for the afternoon. I think I saved up too much laundry and the washer and dryer went pretty much non stop today. But, isn't it nice when there is no laundry left to do.....

When I'm at home I spend a lot of time looking out at the bay. There is something so relaxing having water all around me. This afternoon this Coast Guard must have dropped anchor in this spot as they didn't move for hours. I'd never seen them sit in the bay like that.

Finally late in the afternoon as we approached evening the light started getting warmer it was time to really go out and shoot but at that time the sunlight was hitting the Coast Guard boat so nicely I just wanted to try and get that shot.

So, yes, it really did turn out to be a lazy, hazy, summer afternoon.
