Joaquin Miller Park

This is a city run park in Oakland with some great trails. This thick forest is mostly composed of bay laurel, with some madrone and California hazelnut for fun. There are redwoods a little farther up the trail. We saw a nuthatch drinking from a stream, but it flew away to a treetrunk to search for bugs before we could blip it.
