Polarised

There's been some interest in my polarising filter these last few days - so here it is at maximum play on a white hot day in Cadaques. The 'Casino' isn't a casino but the hub of the village for local people with a large bar, card playing area, internet up the back and so on. It is, amazingly, non-smoking (a brave move here - the Spanish government are going to bring in a blanket ban at new year), so it has our vote!

For foodies, we lunched on favetes con menta (baby broad beans with mint), and rom (a kind of turbot which is a kind of floundery flat fish!) with garlic, washed down with a new rose wine cultivated in the hills just above the village (Perafita)! Very nice in this heat!
