Victorian Fair

It was the Victorian Fair Day at Summerlee today. I enjoyed the hour or so I spent there.

This was one of those occasions where the choice of picture was difficult as I had 5 or 6 contenders.

I eventually went for this one as the girl was so pleasant and knowledgeable as she showed me round a workers van. The workers often stayed in these homes which didn't have enough room to swing a cat but contained bunk beds a stove a table and chairs and little else.

Apart from the fact that she was so informative I was really impressed by her baby who never made a sound the whole time I was there and was without doubt one of the best behaved I have ever come across.
