My favourite moment/quote from the big man's 4 weeks here went like this:

(when asked by my Mum if he would be attending Mass that evening)

Mike: "Oh, well I thought I might catch the Scotland v. Lithuania match in the pub on the way back home from town and I wouldn't want to darken the church's door smelling of booze"

Mum: "Perhaps you could just have a couple of Coca colas during the match instead then?"

Mike: "Ah......That would beeee...................................
