Curly wurly

One of the terms of my loan agreement with Lime is that I do not alter the length of his mane! Whilst I think horses look great with lovely long flowing manes, it is a bit of a pain to keep tangle free especially on a horse as intent on being filthy as he is! I also end up getting my reins tangled up in it, so I have taken to plaiting it when I ride out now, hence the waves when it comes out.

Had a lovely long ride out with a friend up Beacon Hill. Out for nearly three hours. Helped me put aside all the stuff I have been worrying about over the last few days. When I got back to the yard, time was getting on and all I wanted to do was go home and get some lunch. But Jack was looking all forlorn so I ended up taking him out for an hour as well, which was nice and relaxing but then when I got home I realised I still had loads to do and should have gone straight home. And I was starving. Lunch at 5pm is not great!
