A Good Haul None The Less

As mentioned in yesterdays blip I was at the annual Bishop Wilton Show and had some photos entered in the competitions there.

Last year I won the cup for best overall photo and so was determined to at least put on a good showing.

Well I didn't manage to retain the cup but was really pleased with how I did. I managed to scoop a prize in eight of the ten catagories on offer and got an additional comment in another saying I had just missed out. In total I got two thirds, five seconds and one first.

Before the event I was quite concerned as to how I was going to do as I was aware that other blippers were about seven in total.

I have to say the standard this year was very good good once again and so am super pleased that I did so well.

When I went to pick up my photos I bumped into the guy who had won the cup for best overall photo and was really pleased that he was really excited to have won.

He also had a very nice crumpler bag so I was also extra pleased another crumpler fan won the day.

Next year I will be back!
