Musseling in - holidays day 12

Went into Cancale for a bit of a wander. Lovely place, not overcrowded, I think many opt for the same wall to wall temperatures that I'm glad to avoid. The mussel bed is something which I thought interesting, having never seen one before, a sheltered upbringing to be sure.

I think holidays for the time being for our family are really a matter of spending time together, in the sun, pottering around be it collecting seashells, making sandcastles or simply watching the world go by.

Our friends arrived from Nantes in the evening. Their sons have this amazing trick impersonating cars accelerating that they hear regularly from their flat. You sort of have to imagine an infant moaning but you need to start it with a couple of coughs and that is the motor being revved up.
