Just to be the Man Who'd Walk a thousand Miles
I'll own up to it. Mr Dogwithnobrain took the blip today.
But guess what - I'm in it!
I've had a busy day. Right now with all the commotion of Boy getting ready to go, we barely have a moment to sit and think and be together.
I got up early, I had some work to do, then we went and got the shopping and I went and helped my mum with some undercover kind of stuff that she needed doing.
I decided to walk back, it was a nice day for a walk, and I text beloved to tell him I was on my way, and could he walk towards me with the Camera, so that I could get a blip .
I passed to small kids on the path on the way to this path. They had a tin sweetie box, with holes punctured in it, and both jumped up and stood to attention when I turned the corner. I wondered what mischief they were up to and then I heard the banging off the lid of the box! One of them said, "we need more crickets".
That was lovely. It's lovely to see that kids can actually still play. I hate all this premature growing up.
So my walk, took me along the Municiple golf course, this would be either the Darly or the .... no idea. There are three courses. Darly, Lochgreen, and Fullarton. I have no idea which is which. Is Troon of course, there is nothing but Golf Courses. We live right in front of Kilmarnock Barassie, and alongside, Kilmarnock Gailes and Dundonald Links. There is also The Portland Golf Club, and the Royal Troon (Snob hole).
the walk across the golf course (whichever it is) is lovely. You can see all the way to the top of Dundonald Hill, the gorgeous lush trees all round Marr College, and of course all the greenery that comes with the courses. There are rabbits a plenty, and since they completed this cycle path, a multitude of folk to walk past.
Belovedmet me about an eighth of the way from our house on to the path, I was walking much faster, he says he slowed down when he seen me. Yeah, right.
Tooli had her friends round for a fire in the garden to night, and these are the same girls who were all tarted up a few weeks ago. There was much giggling in the garden as they bounced on the trampoline, and toasted anything that was available for toasting. Have you had toasted Ripple?
Boy is away out, he is spending as much time as he can with his pals before he leaves. Which is the way it should be.
All in all a lovely Saturday!
