Day for eating and celebrating

Had to work today - did I mention that?

But - started with full English laid on at 0800, followed by copious amounts of coffee until lunch time. Buffet laid on with strawberries and cream to follow and at the end of the day - a drink from the bar.

Now that's the sort of company I like working for! Although some of the course members would have started the day with a pint had the bar been open!

Crowd of Bananablip's uni friends had arrived for the evening so, Mrs DD and I planned to slip out for a quiet pint and then collect the takeaway on the way home.

But no, not to be! Joined by all the friends at the pub, and this is us around the table scoffing copious amounts of Indian food.

Nice day. Nice food. Nice company.

And I will stop the self-photos a la '10 seconds' after today.
