Sunny feet

I spent a bit of time on the couch this morning catching up on things and enjoying the sun coming through the front window, in between cloud cover that is. I love how wonderfully hot the sun feels the instant a cloud passes; it amazes me how much energy that big ball of fire in the sky is producing. It's been a pretty changable day; sometimes you'd look out and it looked lovely, others it was howling wind and rain. So we just stayed in to avoid the conundrum of what to wear. I caught up on some sewing and napoleon caught up on our books. Don't think he got very far through the stack of receipts, but it's nice that he makes the attempt.

The couch and a flick are probably on order for this evening. Excellent.
