Aye, fungi!

I bought a big grassy plant to brighten up an empty corner of my living room a couple of weeks ago. This morning, I found a mushroom growing alongside it! All day today I've seen it open out like an umbrella, and now it's starting to invert on itself. Yes, I know, I need to get out more, but I confess I've rather been enjoying some downtime today! I was quite in need of a house-day to do some chores etc...though chilling out on the net & going for a walk in the sun just seemed so much more appealing! And photographing the mushroom, of course!

Still at least I made it to the shops today, I was running out of food & I'm off to a street party tomorrow that I am meant to be providing some food for... I don't think the wee mushroom would be enough to go around...
