A Knight's Tale...

Stumbled by accident upon the breathtaking St Conan's Kirk today. Hadn't read about it in guidebooks, and hadn't realised its significance as one of the finest historical churches in Scotland.

And it was all the more magical because of that - so unexpected, with exclaimed "wow's" around every corner. In particular I loved these ornately carved chairs, set out in a semi-circle, like something out of King Arthur and his Knights. A great place to let your imagination run away with you!
