Reeve Lane

I keep forgetting that just around the corner from Lichfield Cathedral is a lane bearing my name! Well, not mine, but of Arthur Stretton Reeve, who was Bishop of Lichfield from 29th September 1953 to 1st December 1974.

As I had a few moments before Ex Cathedra's concert in Lichfield Cathedral that evening I thought I would go exploring. Unfortunately I missed a superb opportunity as we were about to go in for the second half with the low sun illuminating the west front of the cathedral. Next time!
