Last Hurrah

Today was our last day of camping...everyone pulled out of the campground by 11 a.m. I captured some fun photos of my daughter drawing a special photo in my parent's camper journal and also some family photos of everyone reading (and hysterically laughing) back through journal entries that date back to the 90's.

But, I wanted to publish this photo of my kiddos thoroughly enjoying their last jaunt on the beach. We stopped at a famous local restaurant on the way home...after lunch we spent a bit of time on the beach. Not wearing typical beach attire, my kids quickly slipped out of their shoes, rolled up their pants, and headed for the water. Needless to say, my son ended up with a complete change of clothes before the drive home.

Happy weekend to everyone. Thanks again for following me and my adventures this week. I hope to catch up with some journals this weekend. Until then, I'm off to get the kids to bed, do heaps of laundry, and spend some time with my hubby.
