Woodturning

- Backblip - London Day 6.

Our hosts D & J have become quite expert in woodturning and here is a small display of some of their work. We have three pieces created by them, which may appear on Blip at some point in the future.

It is very interesting to watch them at work in their garage, using various saws, measuring devices and sanding machine. They even have special extractors to collect all the dust.

Farewells and Haste Ye Backs this morning and then off onto the M25 - we actually got up to 60 mph. A first I think.

We headed up to Manchester to spend an overnight with my Aunt and Uncle. We were treated to an excellent chicken pie and pineapple upside down cake. I avoided the custard.

During the evening there was a tremendous downpour and thunderstorm. Back to reality with the weather then.
