The brand new 'Rock' opens in Bury

Burys new development 'The Rock' opened in Bury today after a long time watching from the outside we finally were allowd into it (it's very very nice). For the opening day was opened by a beat parade which was excellent and the atmosphere was great as the stores opened up, I took too many pictures of all the street performers and musicians, it was between this and another photo, very close call- but this one was more colourful so :)

These two ladies were on stilts and lead the parade into the main centre- they must have been chilly!!

It was a lovely happy day for all the people of Bury :D
