morning!

so, this was our view this morning. unfortunately a miracle had not taken place during the night and the truck was still in the water.

as usual in africa, the local villages turned out to help and after a few hours of digging and pushing and shoving we were on the road again.

only 24 hours late arriving at our destination.

(as i had suspected malaria, i was given the only tent. the others had to sleep on the road with mosquitoes harassing them all night.)
