Goodnight Moon

There isn't much of a moon to see tonight. Just a slice and it seems so very far away. The sky was beautiful tonight, no real color, just a purple/silver/gray. One of the reasons I love the moon is because no matter where someone you love is, you are looking at the same moon. Somehow it helps me to feel not so disconnected from family and loved ones far away. I never get tired of looking at the sky.

There have been no night time lightning storms since I got this camera so I haven't been able to sink my teeth into that yet. I'm still trying to understand all the manual settings and how they work. I figure the more I try new things the more I will learn by trial, error, and Google. =)
