Barracuda T-Shirt Painting

Today before Quail Lakes swim practice the kids decorated t-shirts for city meet. Armed with a paper containing swim quotes that Emily looked up on the internet and their t-shirts along with puff-paint that Lindsey provided, the kids got to work before practice decorating their shirts. Emily got her shirt almost done and a toddler wandering around placed his hand right in the wet paint on her shirt. She was disappointed to say the least. The mom of the toddler kindly agreed to get her another shirt by this evening so she could try it again. This blip is of Grant very carefully working on his shirt.

City Meet will be Friday through Sunday at St. Mary's High School. The kids look forward to this event every year. It's supposed to be hot this weekend--over 100. . .that should be fun ;)
