Closing time

Jarvises do not enjoy being told that bars they like are going to close - for the night or especially for good. The permanent closure of a good bar is something to be mourned. The Garage is one of Oslo's best rock'n'roll bars/venues, but it will close forever after December 4 of this year. Hopefully, the premises will become another like-minded venue - The Garage was previously called So What? and operated along similar lines, so hopefully a new rock bar and venue will spring up in The Garage's place. However, the Jarvis always assumed the worst when a bar closes - the odds are it will be turned into a shoe shop.
